Ron Coloma Alegría, our latest innovation aged for 6 years, stands apart from the 8 and 15-year-old Coloma rums due to its unique finishing process. This rum is matured for one month in barrels that very recently held Mokka coffee liqueur, which undergoes a natural fermentation process.

Mokka Coffee: Mokka beans, known as the “Queen of Coffee Beans,” are a rare and exotic Arabica variety. These small, hard beans offer an intense sweetness, fruity aromas, and chocolate flavors. In Colombia, they are grown on specialized farms at 1,500 meters above sea level.

Natural Fermentation: Unlike common Colombian methods, the natural process involves fermenting whole coffee cherries without removing the mucilage, thereby saving precious water. This technique yields a smooth, well-rounded coffee with pronounced fruit, caramel, vanilla, and other exquisite flavors, perfectly complementing the Mokka variety.
